Whale Watching Video Soon
Check back for a new whale watching video soon from a recent whale watching trip. Its getting to the point that I think watching the people see the whales in person for the first time is more fun than seeing the whales – well… almost : )
I will also have some photos of the humpback whales as well as some water birds. They were running and trying to fly for their lives as the boat came close. It was a sight to see.
Sometimes pictures are just as fun as videos. Below are some interesting shots from the same trip as the one the video was taken on.
The images and video above were taken with a great little camera that I recommend every vacationer have. It can take both digital pictures as well as video. It is called the Olympus Stylus SW Digital Camera. The “SW” stands for shockproof and waterproof. It is waterproof to 33 feet and shockproof to 6.6 feet.
There are several models of the Olympus Stylus SW camera to choose from. Whichever model you choose, it is sure to be the perfect complement to your travel gear; it is small, sturdy, and flexible. With this camera you do not need to bring an additional video camera.
Of course if you tend to prefer video memories above photo memories, I would suggest you pick up The Flip video camera as well. Use the Olympus Stylus SW for still photos and use The Flip for video. This little gadget is a convenient way to take better quality movies without the bulk of a traditional video camera. Note – you will need protective housing to make the Flip water resistant.)
I hope you enjoyed this whale watching video, but honestly, there is nothing like being there in person to witness these amazing animals! If you ever have the opportunity to go on a whale watching excursion, I strongly recommend you do it. It is a great activity for all ages. Of course, bring a video camera and take a whale watching video of your trip.
